best brake pads?

my maier racing pads went out after 17yrs and time for new ones, the ones I had needed to get hot to stop real good, what are the best stopping pads for the money? some say the cheap ones, its a street car with 500hp and will have rear discs in a month as well.

Wilwood. Pick whichever street compound gives you the kind of stopping power you want.

i like the thermoquiets.

i run them on my DD and the mustang.

they are a ceramic pad so there is minimal brake dust and whatever brake dust there is its a fine white powder that you dont see. makes it much nicer when you go to clean becuase you dont have to scrub through the brake deust.

plus they used to have lifetime warranties, not sure if they still do it thogh
