Default need help on deciding the rear end

I currently have a 66 mustang and am panning to drop a 93 5.0 motor on it but dont know which rear end to go with... the lincoln versailles 9 inch or the 8.8 with 4.10 gears

Well, the Versailles would be much easier to install, if you can find one. The 8.8 requires a lot more adapting. You could get a 9" housing, and a 9" 28 spline diff, and use the brakes and axles you already have.

That depends on quite a few things.
Auto or stick?
4 speed or 5?
AOD or c4?
Daily driver or 1/4 mile racer?

I found 373 with a 5 speed to be a great combo.
410 on a AOD is a good choice also

Assuming you already have a V8 car, I'd run the existing 8" axle unless you have some big plans for that motor.

If there isn't a traction device, all those diffs will perform the same.
