i am installing a edelbrock 500 cfm carb w/ electric choke. what items do i need to swap it w/ my old carb (linkage adapter, etc.)? thanks.

On my 67 ford truck i didn't need anything to install the carb. I just had to modify the throttle alittle on the carb.

What year stang are u installing it on? what engine/trans etc?

I installed a edlebrock 650 on my 72 and it was pretty straight forward. Didn't need to change the throttle linkage, but did need a replacement A/T kickdown linkage.

im installing it on a 289 v8 "A" code mustang w/ a c4 trans w/ shift kit.

I put a 600 Edel on my car, and DID have to have the linkage adapter, that is extra in the deal. Simple bolt-on unit that works GOOD.

yup did my last week..u will need a linkadge adapter,might wanna replace throtle cable while ur at it ,makes for a smoother pedal if the old one is worn or frayed..gl
