Why? The factory setup works perfectly.

Easy to do, really. Run a hot wire to the switch. Run the wire from the switch to the S terminal on the solenoid.

amen to that. battery+ to pusbutton and out the other way to starter selonoid 'S' if you have a manual. for an auto you should wire in the NSF as well. If you run the additional wiring like 2+2 says you can always fall back to the key

That's only going to turn the engine over. You would need a push button AND a toggle switch to provide constant voltage to the coil.

Or just put the key in the run position. and then hit the switch. Its the same as turning the key over all the way.

yah. i guess we all assumed starter button only. if you want a switch for the ignition you can add that as well no problem

Buttons, switches, wires... It'd be easier to just hire someone to start it for you.

If anyone does set up a secondary starter/ignition switch, it should absolutely pass through the NSS if AT.

Bybassing the NSS means that one day the car WILL be accidentally started in gear and very, very easily kill someone. It only takes one time. No joke. The danger here isn't to be taken lightly.
