Default Which timing pointer

So I need to get a timing pointer for my engine. It is a new 92 roller block. I am running a reverse rotation water pump since converting to a serpentine. I can no longer see my timing pointer. I am going to order a new one, however there is a 10 oclock unit and a 11 oclock unit. WHich one should I need. Or, can either one work depending on where I mark TDC on the balancer?
