2+2 for me I noticed a huge difference in disc brakes vs drum brakes. I had only driven modern cars (as I am only a college student now) and the first time I drove a drum brake car, my dads old chevy, it was a lot different. More might factor into it than just the brakes, ie weight, but there was definitely a noticeable difference for me. I am still not used to drum brakes.
And how do you add power boost to the drum brakes?

Great looking 69. It might need work but the body looks clean and rust free. Btw does your 69 have the fold down rear seat?

Yes, need to replace some of the trim and fix one of the latches, and I want to see if there's some kind of cover for the top when its folded up. Not sure if it was just lost, or if there was never anything there, but don't like the look.

Manual brake cars just have a master cylinder hanging off the firewall. Power brakes have a booster that is either connected to engine vacuum or to the power steering. The latter is called hydroboost and its common on diesels. Adding a power booster and a power MC will give you power brakes, sometimes you need to change other things like residual or proportioning valves.

Thats a great looking car! Good find! I like my Power brakes, original type discs up front and drums in the back.
