what size socket
 
Iam trying to take apart my drum brakes and dont have to many large sockets..just wondering what size is the nut holding the spindle on so i can go buy it. Thanks

You can just use a pair a channel locks or even pliers for that. It should only be on there like "finger tight"

I agree, if you need a socket...you dont have any bearings left.

its not on my car it is going to be used for a swap....its a bolt(nut) so it has a size just need to know what it is so i can go and buy it. but i guess i can use channellocks like jerry

Use Channel locks. A socket would be a waste of money. Working on these cars costs enough without adding to it.
