Default Rear Axles - Befor and after

I realize these aren't the same axles, but both were pretty much in the same conditions before and after. A coarse wire brush did the job.
Should I be concerned about that edge?

You need to be sure that the drum (or rotor) is flush with/on the flange. Just put a straight edge on it to make sure it is flat. It doesn't look to be hit hard enough to bend the axle but you could check runout for a piece of mind.

buddy of mine has vibration at back wheels which are caused by that wheel attachment part being wobbly. His is bent (maybe the previous owner used slicks at some stage). so make sure to check on the above. although it doesn't seem to be mayor it might cause imbalance

I'll test a drum on it this weekend. Here are some more close ups. Is there anything else I should worry about?

If the drum sits flat on the flange and the axle is not bent you should be ok. Man someone hammered that pretty good.

ya, the other axle is pretty clean. This is the one that mushroomed out and gave me a hard time removing the drum.

It looks like the flange is mushroomed over a little bit in that spot. Just take a file or grinder and lightly bevel the edge so that the drum will sit flat.
