Default Concourse condition / Low mileage Pictures

Hello,

Does anyone know is there any source (net, book, etc.) where I could find detailed pictures of original cars. I mean the cars that still are just like they came from the factory or from dealer.

These would be great references when doing restoration.

Have tried to look from the net, but could not find any proper source.
Most concourse cars, I was able to find, seem to have some wrong part in somewhere etc. And detailed pictures are hard to find.

I know that there are these low mileage cars. It would be great if some owner would make a book, with every detail photographed.
I would buy that, and probably others too.

I mainly look pictures of 1964 mustangs (65 and 66 too).

BR,

'Original Mustang 1964 1/2-1966: The Restorer's Guide' by Colin Date is the book you need. Lots of color pictures of details - 125 pages. Get it at Barnes and Noble, $35. It is invaluable.

Hiya,

big hello to Suomi from Ireland. Are you going to Vasteras in Sweden this year ??
I have a 64 1/2 myself, but can't help with pictures as there's not much left stock on my car

How's this? Completely original, even the tires. Well, the belts, hoses, and ignition wires were replaced in 2007.

Hi,

I'm personally not going this year, but there will be always lot of cars from Finland also. http://www.bigmeet.com/

If you visit sometime in Finland, visit in August. There is a big one day meet,

Over 100 mustangs every year.

I have 1964 also, trying to get it look as it looked originally...there is long list of parts that I should change.

I got Colin Dates book, seems to be pretty good book. Lot's of info.

Thanks for the pictures!

Do you have more pictures available?

All detail pictures would be really interesting. Engine compartment, interior, etc. If everything is orginal, these are quite good reference pictures.

Are you sure about the door *****, I have read from somewhere that they should not be chrome on early 1964, they should be color coded with interior?
I have chrome ones also, but they are probably not originals.

Air cleaner intake, should it be light blue also?
