Yeah, the only paint shop in town is a little pricey but I have known the family for 40 years so I still gave them the business. In California we have a ton of rules about the kind of paint you can use now. It has really driven up the price of all paint.

Spent two hours replacing the wire springs in the driver seat back tonight. Total PITA. Will post some better photos once it quits raining and I can get it outside again.

Love that blue... Chose it for my '66 which is in the booth right now... I only opted for the GT stripes though. You have a LUCKY 16 year old! My 14 year old daughter thinks I'm going to let her drive my car someday... LOLOLOLOL!!! She hasn't helped with it at all, but my 6 year old loves helping her daddy... She may have more of an appreciation for it in 10 years.
