can someone run some casting numbers for me?

Default can someone run some casting numbers for me?

im just curious as to what my motor originally came out of, the numbers are D2AE-6015-BA-15 and under those numbers are l2ER6, any help is greatly appreciated, the motor is a 351w

'71-74 351w. someone else might be able to tell you the application but ford casting numbers usually don't give you much more other than the years it was used.

Yep- The castings were used in most anything, no way to tell if it was a Cougar or an F-150.

hmm, well it looks like my 60s mustang has 70s guts, the c4 thats in it is an early 70s model

Well, you knew that going in, the 351 was not even available before 1969. As long as the trans has the proper floor shift lever, it should never be a problem.
