Default Insulations for the Phoenix heat

Hi,
I am building a 67 fastback. She will have a ford racing 347 stroker in her. I have an H1 hummer and in these Phoenix days, its miserable to drive due to poor insulation, its just always too hot.
Even though I will have AC in my mustang, i want to do as much as I can now to maximize my insulation. I have put down lizardskin, followed by dynamite. I was thinking of putting down Reflectix from home depot which is an aluminum with air pockets vs UltraTouch which is aluminum backing with fiber mat. Does anyone have any input if one is better then the other. Also any other ideas to maximize insulation would be appreciated.

Thanks

Did you go up the firewall and get the roof lined too? Its still going to be hot, but try parking in the shade when you can and get a fold able sun visor for the front window.

Smoked or tinted windows. Remember whatever insulation you use dont pack it down, trapt air is the actual insulator, not the fiberglass. Exhaust shields and header wrap or ceramic coatings will help get most of the engine heat out of the tail pipes instead of the engine bay and cabin.

It will weigh it down but .You look into some modern ventilated seats out of a high end car, or aftermarket if you can find it.

Let me add there is a difference in tint. Some will reflect and some will just darken the glass. We carried different tints and the better tint would have a 20+* difference in the glass temperature.

Thanks for all the input.
Yes I did go up the firewall with all the insulations. There are many holes that had to be patched up.
For sure going to go with window tint. Thinking of going darker on the front and even possibly do the windshield. I know its illegal, but I have a 'doctors note'
I think the air part makes sense not to do the bubble type as it most likely will pop
