Default boss bracing

Ok, I was talking to Scott on this bracing and he said someone makes a brace to fit the 65-66 mustangs. it's the one that connects to the lower control arm mounting point. Anybody have a clue? thanks!

Yup, that's the one. Not only does it bolt to the frame rails but it ties into the LCA mount, so it's VERY rigid due to the triangulation.

No Andrew, I've already read through that and it never mentioned the brace that you guys just showed me. they are talking about reinforcing the shock tower which isnt a bad idea either..

Weld in tower reinforcement that's what the boss brace really is.Now over the years its been redesigned and most shock tower reinforcement kits have something close to it.I made my own like that site it does two jobs stiffen and blocks off that cup right there that can hold water and dirt.

Yes. It was used on the Boss in Trans Am racing to tie the LCA mounting locations and front frame rails together into a single unit. The suspension geometry stays more consistent since the LCA mounting location can't move. Combined with the shock tower reinforcements, the suspension stays where it's supposed to.
