I agree with most of the above, we all need to be aware of the limitations on the policies. when and where we can use our cars, amount of miles per year we can driver, the stated or agreed value the insurance company will pay if the vehicle is totalled. Alot of the standard insurance companies, Allstate/State Farm, etc, will pay ACV, actual cash value, if there is not a stated or agreed value. The one issue I have not seen posted is the fact that most 'classic car' insurance companies will not all a driver under the age of 25. This can be a very big issue for some of us as I allow my kids to drive our Mustang, I want them to get into the game. We all need to ask lots of questions as we will get what we pay for but we may not gettiing what we want to pay for.
