How do I put a 5.0 in my 83' GLX Convertible?

I have a 1983 GLX convertible with a 3.8 essex (i think) and C4 tranny (i think). How do I go about putting a v8 in? somebody told me everything would pretty much bolt in?

You should try the 5.0 part of the forum classic is 64-78.

I may be wrong but I think that only came with C5, SROD, T5OD and 83ET as your trans op

A parts car is your best bet, getting everything you need piece by piece will be a major pain.
