Keyless Entry

Keyless Entry
Just finishing off some final touches this winter. I picked up the new AudioVox 2-way alarm system/remote start. Its pretty nuts what these things can do and I really love the piece of mind that comes with a 2-way remote.
Obviously remote lock/unlock/trunk pop.
Auto lock when you get in the car and take off/auto unlock when you shut it down.
Remote start of a 5 speed (cool factor in a 67')
Inside temp of car displays in real time on the remote
Microwave/vibration and proximity sensors (you can’t touch this....)
Headlight courtesy (stays on at night after you leave the car)
Control the windows via remote (up and down)
All data is delivered to the vibrating/audible remotes. If you’re in a restaurant and someone gets too close your remote will page you and the LCD screen will show you what zone was affected.
And a MILLION other cool toys.
Quick note - This is probably the easiest car to put door lock solenoids in EVER. Its like they were made for them. The trunk solenoid is another issue and takes some creativity.

I'm assuming you have to put power locks in your mustang for these to work, but otherwise what else do you need? That's really cheap peace of mind!

The remote start will work with a carb, I wont use it much (its put away for the winter) but its nice to have it warmed up on a cool night. ***must have a well tuned carb.
The trunk pops with a selonoid (similar to the doors). I'm still working on figuring out a way to keep the original key access and the remote. Right now its one or the other but I'll get r done.
NRA stickers are good, guns are great but if you dont know someone's screwing with your car neither do much good...

I don't even lock my doors right now my keys are in my car lol. When i go to town i take the keys but don't lock it a big redneck looking guy like me carrying a 1911 will make most think twice.Besides always have enough insurance to cover replacing it not what they say its worth.I drive a repo tow truck i can take a car in 30 sec and don't even get out of the truck.I'm honest but a lot of others out there ain't.
