well I am the plunker ....
i can't believe I'm using the wrong ones :-(
The installation manual of my heads say use 14mm with 3/4 reach and gasket seal.
Means
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRM-3926/
are the ones to use. Have to pull one out tonight to doublecheck. can't believe i have them too short (and wrong seal type)

just checked through all my summit orders. I ordered 3926 and 25's in the past, let's see which ones I have in the car ....

I'm going to pull my plugs and check them as well.

I have the Performer RPM heads from Summit with the Bosch iridium plugs. I just asked for the highest priced best plugs and slapped them in. I get like a 50% discount on parts from my local Auto Zone here so I didn't care at the time.

I think that Motorcraft or Autolite copper core plugs are your best bet Musnicki.

I'll get a set tomorrow, I trust the word of this board. It's kept my car running for over four years, 10-15k miles a year.

Yeah, I have autolite in my 289, but with the new motor they recommend NGK plugs for the alum heads

Do you have any mileage or performance data w/ wrong plugs?

Would be nice to see if any real difference occurs.
