Just did a set with Fel-pro gaskets and the instructions say to glue the cork gaskets to the block with high tack gasket sealer. Ensure they don't move on the block prior to installing the manifold. Worked fine for me. I have done it with RTV also, that worked fine as well.

there's only one way. ditch the cork there. it's no good. thick bead of RTV, make sure to overlap the gaskets a bit (so that the bead continues onto the head for about an inch getting thinner there. works every time for me. never seeped

my goal is to have a continuous wet rtv bead around the entire perimeter.

i want to avoid wet to dry interfaces.

i will look for slow setting rtv?

maybe the only place for cork is ireland and wine

only front and back and as said a bit overlapping. and as 67m302 the black one. Everyone seems to say so but I have used blue as well for lack of having any black. No difference to me so far.

And very true on "Cork". good name for a town but no use for intake gasket :-)
