Has anyone used "restoration project management software" before?

I simply keep buying what I want until it is done and don't keep track of anything.

Well I forgot to mention that I don't buy that much either, lol.

I see you are from North Carolina. Did you know a shop called Mustangs of Concord?

Oh...and welcome to the forum. Unlike Vintage Mustangs and some other forums that have a small group of "Good Ol' Boys Club" members, all the people currently posting on here are very nice, lol.

I've heard of them but never used them. We're in the mountains near Asheville, a few hours away. I usually make it to the Lowes Motor Speedway in Concord for the spring and fall Charlotte Autofair.

I'll chime back in- I found an app I use call Rapid Inventory Management. I'm sure there are others. I use it to scan the bar codes of all the parts I buy for cars and racing. When I need another one later all I do is search the app and I have the exact part number I need. Not so handy for the mustang but for the racecar its awesome. If I happen to crash it I'll make up my list of bent stuff pull the part numbers from the app and email it directly to Lane Automotive. I pick up my order on Saturday morning. For the mustangs and street cars I use it to keep track of parts that are one off/different, like the updated rotors/calipers or whatever that I've added that isn't stock. Its been very help[ful- as long as I put the info in.

As for project stuff I still use excel for listing needed parts, costs, timelines and order of operations.

Protip:

Keep buying what you need until She Who Must Be Obeyed starts bitching and back off for a couple months then while she's busy making sandwiches, buy some more.

I have that same Program, I think it's called WALK SOFTLY. Been working pretty good, it was a free download and keeps a completely accurate total for my wife. I believe to date I've spent just under $30 bux .

Haha... The SO and daughter are into show horses. I used to get asked what the 'racing budget' is. That stopped when I started to ask what the horse budget was...

I win :-)
