What kind of car is it for? Do the in and out match what you need, or is it just the wrong radiator?

Sorry
Its for a 66. The radiator fits but the electric fan they give you is too thick and the shroud adds 1/2in to the equation. The fan cant clear the water pump.

How much space do you have between the radiator and the water pump pulley?

One inch? From the radiator to the water pump pulley? This car has more like seven inches.

If you take the shroud off and mount the fan directly to the face of the rad would you have the room need? That is how i mounted my set up and i have about 1/2 in between the water pump and the ele fan made my own brackets, its very easy to do.

The fan I have is 3 3/4 inches thick. Thats about all the room I have from the radiator to the nose of the pump. I just bought a slim 2.6inch fan. Hopefully it sits in place. I will keep you guys posted. I dont think I can squeeze the shroud in there.

Without a shroud, the fan will be minimally effective. The point of the shroud is to allow the fan to suck the air it moves from the far side of the radiator, thus cooling the radiator which in turn, cools the coolant. Without the shroud, the fan draws air from the point of least resistance. In this case, it will be from the sides, top and bottom of the fan on the engine side of the radiator.

Sorry I got a flatter electric fan. It will be pressed on the rad.
