Window Boomerang and Door Handle

Window Boomerang and Door Handle
Howdy,
I have my entire car apart for paint expect the window trim and door handles. How do I remove these without damaging anything?
I would like to remove only the boomerang section and leave the other part on.
Secondly I would like to remove the door handles without having to mess around with the locking mechanism. Is this possible?
How difficult is it to put this back on? What material should I use for best adhesion?
Thank you for your time.

The boomerangs are held on by the short stainless section that connects the boomerang to the rain gutter stainless trim. The only other connection is the two studs with screw on wire nuts that is behind the interior quarter panel trim and behind and underneath the quarter windows. This info is for a fastback but I think the coupes are about the same.
The door handles are held on with the screw that is visible when you open the door and look in the area where the end of the door handle would terminate. Undoing this screw will allow you to remove the door handlel but you still have to undo the clip that attaches the door handle to the latch mechanism. If you to this far you might as well disconnect the key lock mechanism by pulling out the 'U' shaped retaining clip and disconnect the clip to the lock mechanism and make it easy on the person doing the body work.
