Something a little different this time. I have done the relay mod for the headlights, annd they work great now. I can see where I'm going even on th darkest roads. Lately, I am finding it impossible to see my turn signals that are in the hood scoop during the day time. They seem nice and bright at night although, they look like they may be pointing at the wrong angle? Is there something that can be done to see them in the daytime?

It will always be a little difficult to see them in the daytime since the sun washes them out. The best thing you can probably do is take the turn signals apart and clean out the lens so that the most light possible will come through. They should only be able to go in one way unless the casing is broken or something, but just give it a look.

Your bulbs could also be old so they may be shinning dimmer than they used to in their better years

I would say you could always put in LED sequential HOOD lights, but apparently the item is not longer available That sucks because I was planning on getting some. There may be other companies that supply these.

What type of head lights do you run? My lights are real dim and I'd like to get a new set of lights...also, what wiring harness did you go with to accompany the lights?

for the lights the simplets is a 7" H4 conversion lamp, you should get that at any car parts store like Napa etc.
what the OP did was to wire in a relay to brighten them up (so the power to lamp comes straight from battery/charging system as opposed going through the light switch):

I put in 4 new Sylvania extra vision bulbs, ran my own wiring, and got the details from the FAQ section. Now I need a new dimmer switch because mine is stuck on low beam position and a new headlight switch because my dash light have no dimming effect.

I run Sylvania Xtravision XV6024 sealed beam halogens. They work quite well. They are also increased wattage comparable to the late model capsule type bulbs. An H4 conversion is a good way to go too. Stay away from the colored bulbs that way whiter etc, like Silverstar. Thats all junk. You actually get less output from them.

Something else you can do to increase light output from all your lights is to swap in a higher amp alternator.

Would also putting in the relays draw more from the ALT?
And, is there a system for the 69 where there are 4 headlights? One set for lowbeam and the other for highbeam. I guess I could do some wire splicing and put two more connectors for the other set.
