Thx for that diagram Jlg. I was up under the dash earlier today because I was trying to pull the fuse box down because I know the wiring harness isnt the original thats in it currently. I didnt put in the new harness and fuse box so I didnt know because it was already done sometime before I got the car. I ended up finding out that it is the Painless performance Classic Mustang 14 Circuit Universal Ford Muscle Car Harness 1966 - 1976 thats in there. So after reading the online manual for that harness on their website I have traced the problem back to the turn signal switch area in the steering column as well just like you did. So tomorrow I will mess with that and troubleshoot it with your suggestions and see what happens.
