So what your saying is that you have power to the coil? But after the coil your not getting power?

Whats the point of bypassing this wire? I have never done it and have no ignition problems. I've had the pertronix, DSII, and now HEI. I did have a flamethrower coil go bad in about 1 month, never sent it off to get a replacement. Just went with a stock coil and never looked back.

I do not have points. I bypassed the resistor wire because the flamethrower 2 coil requires 12v instead of 9v that the resistor wire makes. What I noticed is that my radio and tach don't get power while cranking but they do when the key is just, turned once, my coil is connected to the same accessory stud on the back of the ignition. Are the accessories supposed to work while cranking?

Connect the coil to the "ignition" terminal, not the "accessory" terminal, it doesn't get power during cranking. Once you have it connected correctly, I'll bet it will fire right up.

It's on the ignition switch. Make sure you have 12v with the key on (in run position, but the engine not running) at the coil. On a '66 you can get to the switch by removing the instrunment bezel, not sure on a '67 ...

67 has a screw on bezel and once that comes off you pull it out from behind the dash
