Yea I just ordered the basic report to see if it was one of the Grabber Green ones. I saw an article about one set up just like mine and it said it was one of 7 like it. I will get pictures tomorrow. if anyone is looking for one the guy I bought it from has a 70 fastback set up for a 429 and I think a 70 LTD with a 429 for sale. He said he paid 15,000 for mine 5 years ago to restore it but it never happened and now he is trying to move them.

The 71 drag package ran a mid 13 to low 14 depending driver and rear gear but that was on the crappy 70s tires,One today with good slicks would be a monster if it can hold traction lol.Jerry on those things try ebay or a junkyard i don't think its remade yet.

You either didn't have a tach that worked correctly or had some serious slipping going on in the trans!....You should have been running in the mid 3000 rpm range depending on tire diameter..

She idled around 800-900 RPM and when you power braked it and took your foot off the brake around 2500 RPM+ she got all kinds of side ways and put you back in your seat. She was just an all out beast. I could light them tires up at 30-35 MPH at any time in drive much less If I did that in 1st, I'd **** myself. She'd broil the tires through all three gears easy if you let it, which I did many times. I was faster if I didn't let the car do that, but what fun is that???
The way she roared, the tach was fine. That car was made for 1/4 mile trips only, on the highway forget it.
I'm sure having 4:30 gears with 14" rims didn't help either at the time.
