Default What is this part?

I finally am getting my car back together and I was wondering if anyone knows what this part is and where it goes

looks like a bracket to me. I don't know where it goes

what's the white stuff on it? might give some kind of clue on where to put it.

I think that is a bracket that bolts at the motor mount and is missing a foam part and clasp that holds the power steering hoses in place.

Did yours have power steering?

Is it something for the emergency brake set up under the floor pan? I really don't know.

That is the power steering hose bracket without the insulator see page 103 of the www.cal-mustang.com catalog for a full view.

Here is is installed:
