Question Cleaning Instrument Lenses

What would you recommend for cleaning and removing scratches from the clear plastic instrument lenses? I know the replacements are fairly inexpensive but I'd rather keep the originals if they can be safely cleaned and the scratches safely removed.

I'd say your best bet is to get some headlight lens renewer and use that. You could also look into what model car guys use for polishing up their clear plastic.

You should be able to find plastic polish in any auto supply store. Of course, on a 68 the chrome dots in the centers of the lenses must be shot by now.

Just replace it most of the scratches are inside it.When plastic gets old it starts to crack really small ones ends up looking kinda fogged up.
