Honestly this is my last wheel question I never knew picking a wheel type and size would be this confusing would this wheel sizes fit my 67 with out any mods my mustang is stock height

Lug Pattern:
5x4.50" (same as 5x114.3mm)

Offset & backspacing:
17x7" wheels: 0mm offset (4.00" backspacing) 1" Lip Size

17x9" wheels: +12mm offset (5.50" backspacing) 2 1/2" Lip Size

I do believe so, front definitely will. To test the rear I would pull out a piece of wood and a tape measure. Then I would check the distance from the drum to the panel near the sub-frame. That will ensure that your tires won't hit and rub up on it or the rubber stop near it.

But if I remember right its about 6" away.

Don't forget that the tire bulge on the back side will extend a little deeper into the wheelwell than the backspacing spec for the wheels. How much can be estimated fairly closely, but you'd have to have a particular make/model/size tire in mind to get a number that you could have any real confidence in basing $$$ wheel and tire decisions on.

Thanks guys for all your feed back I think after measuring the 17x9 would fit without rubbing in the rear.

17x9.5 with 5.5-6bs and a 275 40 17 can be put right on the car.

So a 17x9 with 5.5 bs will to.

Or an 18x9 or 18x9.5 with a 275 35 17
