Default 1967 Coupe Questions

I just bought a 1967 Coupe and recently found out it has a 1971 Engine in it. The Serial off the motor is D1OE 8425 AA.

Can anyone give me the specifics on this and how it affects the value of the car? Also is there anything else I need to look for on here? Everything on the car says 289 and obviously this is a 302.

I know the 289 have several different models/versions. Is there any way to tell which 302 exactly this is?

D1OE: 1971 (D1) engine (E) part originally engineered for a Fairlane (O).
8425 is just the part number
AA is a revision #

It will only hurt the value of the car if it is the only modification to the car and the car is in a condition to compete in the concours class at a mustang show. For a daily driver or restomod car it wont hurt the value of the car. The reason for this is because the value of a restomod car is already lower than what a concours car would be.
