Default Sound deadening a success!!

So, I started a couple months ago the removal of everything and found rust. So, the first month was floor pans, torque boxes.

Now, I put down ceramic microspheres in SPI Black and put down two coats on everything (Insulation and some deadening).

To the whole car, I added B-quiet (supreme I think, the top line one) and a layer ofThermozite and taped it.

I blocked off the back 1/2 of the trunk as I don't have the fold down seat and I wanted it quieter. I made sure all was sealed, all holes in the dise frame to the outer body panels.

I think it was a huge success from just sitting int he garage, still more to do before I take it out. with the windows rolled up it's like a modern quiet car.

SUCCESS.... Pics soon to come as they are on the phone.

I can't wait to get to this stage with my 69. I got the Dynamat Extreme with their Dynaliner to cut down on sound and heat.

For the price, the Thermozite is awesome.

After I replaced the floor pans and toe boards, I painted the SPI. It looked so awesome, I didn't want to put down the B-quiet as it will never come off. I always things about resale on every thing I do at home or car. But in this case, I know that the underside is great, took pictures to prove to anyone, and it's much nicer to take longer trips and have conversation without yelling in the car.

I cant't believe how many openings are to the trunk area. Plus, now the tunk is sealed from any fume leaks.
