e-brake issue and Break shoe, 9 or 10" ?
So, issues here
failed inspection this morning, the lever inside the drums move but doesn't push the shoe, I am heading home to pull apart but baffled. THe only thing I did over winter was replace floor pans so I had to re weld the drivers side bracker back on and gave it pretty good tension.
Second, the shoe is cracked on each side, and when calling Napa, they asked 9 or 10". Which is it for a 69, 351 9" rear?

The back of your car should have 10 inch brakes on it. The real question should be how wide? Any time you go to a parts store you should always take the old part with you to compair the new and the old. This will save you a lot of heart ache. The E brake could be nothing more than an adjustment. A good looking at should tell you what is wrong with that.
