I have a bad drum on the front of my 65, will eventually be doing a drum/disc conversion. Until then, just wanting to find a temporary replacement. Can anyone tell me what would be a compatible car/truck to look for to find a donor drum. It's a V8, 10"drum. Thinking about hitting some junk yards tomorrow for a quick fix, would rather put the $50 towards the conversion.
As alawys thanks for any input. You guys haven't steered me wrong yet!

Hmm. I got nuthin. If you were closer to Indy I may have had a few places to recommend.
You could call some of those craigs list posts with other mustang bits for a 65/66 car and see if they have any.

To my knowledge, the drums are not interchangeable with anything except 65-66 V8 Mustangs and Falcons.

All V8 Falcon, Comet, Mustang, Fairlane, Torino, Cougar, etc 64-71 have same drums.

Don't get confused by the FINNED Front drums that are aftermarket pieces. They will look larger, but are functionally the same as the slick drums.
