faces the head and which faces the intake. I have a trick flow gasket set and i am installing my intake. One side of the gasket has seal around each port and the other does not. and even though it has a seal around one side do i need to install rtv around the water ports on each side or only the one without the seal.

I put the side with the seals on the intake side. I also use a thin smear of rtv around the coolant ports on both sides of the gasket.
