Default Swap meet steal

Found a heater box for my 66 for 4 bucks. It looks complete, but as I dont have one, I have nothing to compare it with. It doesnt have a resistor and doesnt look to have holes for it either.

How do I install this and does it need a resistor? How do I know if I have a two speed or three speed setup?

Thanks!

The 1966 Mustangs utilized a resistor panel in the front of the heater box. Your Mustang will have a three speed heater switch on the dash - off to the left, low, medium, and high as the switch moves to the right. The box you have is for a 1965 Mustang or early Falcon. You can simply cut a rectangular opening in the front of the box for the resistor panel installation.
Best,
Al
