What is this noise???? (Video Attached)
Its the high pitch squeaking. I pulled all the pulleys apart and it seems to be coming from the clutch fan or water pump and not the ps or alternator. The noise only starts around 3000rpms and I just can figure it out. Got the clutch fan drenched in WD and still the noise persists. Listen for the high pitch noise about 4 seconds in. Thanks in advance for advice

As stated above it is not accessories... So I thought the seal was supposed to start leaking if the water pump bearing started to go, correct me if I'm wrong but I heard that somewhere, also other than the annoying noise, are there any affects if I let the problem persist, of course I will end up on the side of the road one day with steam coming out of my hood but until I see that gage start creeping up should it be ok until I get a new pump?

OK but did you run the motor while without the accessories hooked up? If so, great.
So it almost sounds like metal on metal squeaking. kinda like bad brakes. just to be sure take off your valve covers and check your rockers for wear, maybe one isnt getting the proper oil flow to it at certain times...just in case
IF it is the seal on your water pump, yes you could all of a sudden lose water and be screwed. But I dont think thats it. sounds more metallic like a bearing. Im not sure what would happen then, maybe just seize up and lose water flow?
Its hard to tell from a video ya know. I do hope you resolve it soon, it would make me nervous!

Yeah I ran it with no belts and the sound was gone, of course I did this after pulling the valve cover and checking the rocker I just replaced for wear, successfully tearing the valve cover gasket.... The gasket has been in there for like 2 years and been pulled like 10 times, idk how it lasted this long, but anyway the noise was gone when the water pump / fan was not being turned, im going to pull the fan and just run the water pump pulley later today to see if its the fan making the noise or if its the pump. Would much rather be replacing a fan than a water pump..... But my best guess is the pump right now...

Pulled the fan and there was no noise, put the fan back on and it was there, let it warmup and there was no noise...... It's for sure the fan but now it's gone... It just wanted some attention, guess I've been working on the 86 too much
