Default How to get at Frost Plug on 289

Hi
I just discoved that I didn't do a very good job of draining my 289 before I put it away. I have a freeze plug out - hope that is all the damage I did. It is on the driver's side - best I can tell it is somewhere mid way back on the engine sort of under the headers and from below it seems to be up from where the oil pan bolts on. I took off the power stearing and can reach back to where the water is leaking from but can't feel where the plug was (I found it on the ground! - yikes!) What should I start taking off to get access to it? It is on a 65.
Thanks much for your time.

Sorry - I miss typed - it doesn't have headers - just regular exhaust manifold.
