Default batery shifted in trunk around a corner, damage

I don't know why I didn't put it int he back seat, I just didn't. THe battery shifted in the trunk and hit the fender perfectly on the side. There are two dings that have a spider effect on them.

So, being the rear QTR, how much will have to get painted? can it be feathered in okay? It's Acapulco Blue so I bet they can get it very close.

Thoughts?

Sucks.. I did the same thing with a alternator that I had sitting in the trunk... Felt really smart after that one.

depending on the painter, they can fix the damage and then when they paint it, they can paint the damaged area, then fog the paint to the surrounding area, same for the clear then colorsand and polish.

a proper fix would actually be to fix the damaged area and paint both quarters and the roof...but like said above you can slide by doing a spot repair and blending it out...

DUDE!!!!! I did the same frigging thing right after I painted it with a NO2 bottle. it sucks. I learned to live with it. My nieghbor kid also decided to drag his handle bars across the front of the hood and my 4 year old decided to help me wash it with a green scotch brite pad....

at least I know where all the love came from... Like I always say, chicks dig scars....
