Unhappy 66 disc brake changeover

I did the 93 Crown Vic disc brake changeover on my 66 Mustang and it does indeed bolt on. My issue is that the car has those pretty honeycomb wheels and they do NOT clear the calipers. Does anyone make a thinner brake caliper that will bolt on and clear those wheels. I tried a spacer but it still does not clear. My buddy ground them down with a grinder but I am not happy with that at all. Also I had to mount the right rear caliper upside down which makes it tough to bleed. Anybody?
