Default 1965 Mustang correct engine bay pictures?

I'm trying to detail my engine bay and put back the decals that were basically flaking off. I am having a really hard time finding a picture of a Concours-like 1965 Mustang 200 with all the decals and original engine parts painted correctly.

Does anyone have some pictures of one? Even a 289 original engine bay would be nice.

Those are traditionally called strut/shock tower braces, but for some reason are mounted to the front of the fenders?

Convertibles got the extra bracing that went to the fenders. Your coupe or fastback wont have this.

late 65 convertibles had extra braces connected to brackets on the aprons. All 66 convertibles had them, without the special brackets.

ahh good to know. i wasnt sure becuase looking at mine the L bracket on the fender apron were reversed from 1 side to the other.

one was like this L and the other had the outward portion at the top.

i will have to be sure to put them back on then.

edit:

also they apparently started doing it in mid 65 as mine was built 6/65 and has them. unless someone added them later in the year at the dealer.
