I have a 1995 gt mustang and a 1965 fastback mustang. I am doing a full Restomod and would like to know if it would be possible to replace my 65 chassis with the '95 chassis. Yes, the entire thing! : ) the '65 was completely rusted out and this is the reason I have chosen the Restomod route. So anyone with any experience in this area please give advice, tips, and recommendations. Thanks !

I remember seeing a one in Mustang Monthly owned by Patrick Dempsey. I believe a '94 chassis/platform with a '65 or '66 body shell.

The car doesn't have a chassis, it's a unibody. All Mustangs since day 1 have been unibody, so no, you can't replace the chassis. You can't just put body panels over a newer platform either, since it's unibody some of the body panels are also part of the structure. With a ton of fab work you could do it by making classic panels work on a late model chassis. But then you have what's basically a late model with a body kit.
