69 suspention work
Ok, got the springs, shocks, and brakes in from the auto parts and getting the new tires put on all around this weekend. thinking new upper and lower control arms, new sway bar. I am all for some suggestions and more ideas. This is my first classic build that wasn't just motor work.
thanks for the advice.
Picture in snow is shortly after I got it home air shocks in back currently looks like he had it sitting an inch or so higher, also think the front end is lowered around an inch.

Make sure to get it aligned as soon as all the parts replacement and new wheels are installed. Find a good alignment shop, not just one of the chain stores. A local hot rod club, mustang club or local racer might be able to get you a good lead. Lots of the shops have no idea what to do with a classic car but they won't say that, they'll just take the $$.

Also, I know you're eager, but give us time to respond. Your original post was 10am and at 9pm you're asking where all the responses are. Well, most of us are at work and then dealing with dinner and getting kids to whatever they need to be at, then retrieving the kids before we can settle down in front of the computer to mess around on tech boards.
So give us a chance :-)

I know I am very eager lol,
I do know an alignment shop that specializes in older cars. when the tires and parts all get changed that's exactly where it's going first. I am hoping that it fixes the "ride" and makes it comfy and fun to drive instead of feeling like im fighting it down the road. if it works out I will get on some real power next.

Get rid of the air shocks and convert to front disks at least.
Inspect your rear shock mounts for damage.
