Default 1997 3.8 into 67 conv

I have a 67 convertible with the straight 6 (not the original 200 c.i.d). I just picked up a 97 coupe (wrecked). It runs great and drives, but frame bent. I would like to put the 3.8 motor and trans into the 67. I have the complete donor car and a lot of mechanical and electrical expertise. I mainly need technical info on what needs to go with the 3.8 into the 67, wiring in particular. Can someone direct me to a member that has done this before?
Looking for modern dependability, mileage and classic looks. Thanks!

Ummm. no, however, you can tell us how to do it after you figure it out, lol.

you need the wiring and computers for efi and ignition if it has it.

you also need to install an 02 sensor so the computers will work properly.

need efi fuel pump.

need return fuel line to the gas tank if it has one.
.

Possibly fabricate some motor mounts, trans cross member, I'm assuming need a new drive shaft. Trans tunnel clearance may be an issue. I'm guessing your going to want to go power disc brakes / power steering? maybe even AC? There will be some time involved in this project for sure.

I'm pretty sure you will need an MII front end kit to fit the 3.8, I don't think it will squeeze in between the towers. By time you get everything ready for the 3.8 you could drop a 5.0 in for pretty much the same price.

Don't forget to address the front sump vs. rear sump issue that will have to be overcome. Looked into this swap years ago and decided it would cost substantially more than going with a V8.
Best,
