Default 65 Mustang Brake Question

Hello everyone, I am pretty new here but have been looking around for a while trying to find an answer to my question (I've used the search feature).

Anyways, my father and I recently found a 65 K code mustang that is going to need some work. The car has the stock disc brakes in the front, but definitely need to be replaced, so after looking around at various parts websites, all I could find were front disc brake "conversion" kits. If anyone here could help me I would appreciate it. I just don't know whether a conversion kit would work being that it has stock disc brakes or if I need something else. I have talked to a few people and just seem to become more confused.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If they are stock you can go just about anywhere, Rockauto,Pep boys, etc. or Mustang places. Rotors from Rock go from $26 to $71. Pads likewise. You don't need to go to specialty Mustang places to get common parts. I am not pushing any of these stores they just happen to come to mind.
