Default V8 '70 discs and rear axle into '68 6cyl convertable???

I currently own a rather rough multi colored 1970 302 Grande, and I just picked up a '68 6 cyl mustang convertible with a beautiful body, but 4 lug wheels and non-power drums all the way around. My question is can I use my 5 lug power disc brakes and rear axle from my '70 Grande on the convert, and if so what is required to complete the swap??

I swapped 70 spindles to my 67 so that should work. I believe the rear will bolt in too. Measure the overall width of the rear on both cars. I think even the ball joints were the same but it's been so long ago I forget.
