Oh **** not that drawing again....
Those colors are actually not all correct that drawing is off its ****.
This one is way better
SO red blue 32 is your starter to solenoid
I think ignition from the key is first is 16 red green, which initially ran to a resistor and became 16A pink which I believe ran to 262 brown to the I terminal.
The ignition switch does come out quite easily you could use a test light to confirm all of this and make sure you are getting power when in start position as well as run.

Thanks Gun,
I did it the old fashioned way. I removed the ignition switch, and turned the key while my wife used a meter to find the terminal with a meter that had power during cranking and while in accessory position. Worked great and I can already tell the diff in the ease of starting.

besides man, I have a painless kit alond with VDX gauges and Atomic EFI. Its a wiring mess..... UGHHH
we should start a wiring sticky.. If you plan to do nice gauges and a EFI, DO NOT GET A PAINLESS KIT. IT IS A HUGE PAIN.........
i had to butcher my very expensive brand new harness and throw at least 40% of it in the trash. if you do a modern electric gauge set and efi, you will only need a just a couple circuits for the lights. Most of the wiring you need comes with the efi and gauges....
