I am looking at updating my rear suspension (it's hagged!) and then going onto my front suspension next year. I found a good overview of options available on Mustang360 website.

I found three kits in my price range one is Ridetech Complete Coilover Suspension System Level 2 1967-1970 and the Total Control Product Coilover kits and Hotchkis Sport Suspension (80041-2) 1967-1970 Mustang Stage 2 TVS (Total Vehicle System) kit. The Hotchkis Stage 2 TVS Kit.


I wanted to know if anyone installed either of these kits in their classic Mustang and if you had any comments or feedback. Are there other options that you would recommend? I would be interested in saving some money....

I have no experience with coil over suspension.

I would recommend talking with TCP and Global west. I run the TCP power rack and pinion and its been a great setup. I also run a lot of Global west suspension stuff and lately their wilwood based brake Ive been really happy with their stuff and I think their coil over system would be excellent as well.

I have the TCP CO in the front, the kit came installed with the car when I bought it. I like the kit but have not really pushed it too hard. I could tell you that the car drives straight as an arrow, i have no complaints when driving over a bumpy road. I plan going with the rear matching kit here in a couple of weeks along with the sway bar. I'll be paring it with the electric steering kit as well.

Pot, why would you CO in the front and then stick with leaf springs in the rear?

Loots, I didn't plan on mixing kits. I planned on doing a Full kit from one mfg.

I'll throw a slightly different possible option, of a complete package that also will stiffen the entire car.
Price is not cheap, but as an entire setup starts to look a little more competitive.
