Remove drive shaft of 1966 automatic gearbox

mark the yoke on the pinion with the bearing on the driveshaft so you can put the same bearing back in the yoke in the same place.
undo the 4 nutz pop the u bolts out press the DS into the trans until the u joint is free of the pinion yoke. Tape the bearings to the DS U-joint so they dont fall off. Pull it out and stuff rags in the hole to slow the bleeding...you'll want a bucket underneath too.

When I used to be doing this stuff real often, I kept a few stray slip-yokes around to seal off that stinky red stuff! imp
