1968 Mustang Turn Signals
Hello All,
I have a 1968 Mustang Coupe with a 289 automatic. Recently, my blinkers stopped flashing. They turn on and stay on when i move the turn signal with my hand but wont flash. I basically have to move the flashers by hand when turn to flash. Would this be the turn signal switch in the steering column?
The second problem I have are my headlights. I recently replaced the originals with some replica lights, nothing fancy. They lights work but after about 10-15 minutes of driving with the lights on, they begin to flash off and will stay off and then go back on every 10 seconds. Makes it impossible to drive at night. At the same time it feels like motor is stopping and all lights are dimming, definitely feels like a loss of power. (After talking with a few techs, they mentioned they believe the halogen lights pull more amperage and the circuit breaker is tripping. Once it cools off, the lights work again) I'm going to try and order some standard lights and replace them to see if this solves the problem.
