Automctic transmission c3 1965
 

Hallo i have mustang 1965 with engine 3.3 liter and automatic transmission c3. I was repair transmission (change clutch) .After i tested transmission the car cant go to program D but program R was ok. Please what can be wrong ? Thank you from answer.

Can you put the shifter in 1st, 2nd, and drive and park positions?

Does it go forward if you put the shifter in 1st or 2nd?

Did a transmission shop rebuild and install the trans?

Yes i can put position but i put D or 1st or 2st the car does not go forward as if put N. R mode is okay

ok, if your transmission has enough fluid, AND, the torque converter is installed correctly, AND the shift linkage is tight so it is not slipping on the external shift rod, then the problem is inside the transmission itself . If the problem is inside the transmission, it means the shop that built it did not do it correctly. Hopefully they gave you some type of warranty/guarantee.

I thing the outside transmission is good . I repair transmission in home but I dont now what is dont instal uncorectly . In front of rebuild the speed go okay . What uncoretly inside ?

i don't know exactly what part inside the trans can cause this. it could be many things, but the easiest thing to check is the valve body and make sure all the check balls etc are in the right place and that the pistons move freely and have the right springs etc.

Today i tested my transmission like in this video https://youtu.be/ucTqlOHhCxM . And when i test clutch the air dont push the clutch and blow in transmission. Maybe its wrong control the clutch . Please how the control clutch works ?

I don't know much about auto transmissions. You might need to find someone near to you or email bad shoe productions or try a transmission forum etc.
