I'm trying to track down a digital camera and I will definitely keep a detailed log and post it somewhere. I know how much grief I've gone through to find all the parts and info I need, and I want to save other people the trouble.

so let me get this straight... there is no need to buy the whole assembly, just the pedal, spring, and bracket... and the rest of the linkage that you'll need is the same you'd need if you did buy the whole assemly right??

You will need to buy most of the parts to convert your existing assembly. I'll take a picture within the next few days of both assemblies sitting next to each other so they can be compared.

The brace piece that goes between the dash and fire wall is the same. The brake pedal is only different because the bottom is bigger, so you really need the smaller pedal.

If you had one to compare to you might be able to trim down the automatic pedal to take the pad for the standard pedal.

couldnt you just buy a manual set of pedals pad and just bolt those on the pedal shaft things?

No shifty, the pad is only a cover for the big piece of flat steel afixed to the end of "Pedal Shaft Things"

ahh i see......well then unless u could bend the "pedal shaft thing" err.. "pedal arm" or whatever its called.....like kink the clutch one to the left a bit so it would clear the brake one.....otherwise i guess u would need to cut it....which probably wouldnt be all that hard either....
